WALK FM - lullaby radio

There is no sleep like that of a child in the back seat of mom and dads car, on the way home Fudrucker's (I always felt naughty saying that) or any returning trip after sunset. Really quenching sleep. I also always loved how the combination of left, right, right, left turns that finished in your driveway always had the ability to wake you up. As if that familiar combination was a gentle alarm that only you knew meant "we're home."

I'm not some incredibly insightful visionary telling you something you don't already know. But I did realize this tonight. We might be wrong about the personalized alarm thing. It's not that the specific combo of turns subconsciously let's you know it's time to wake up. Rather it's the fact that the last 30 miles was pretty much straight highway driving and now that you are almost home there are four jarring turns that even the most soothing easy listening radio can't help you sleep through. Probably.

g-night.
