Free download : World Sick by Broken Social Scene
I'm pretty late to this party but...
Broken Social Scene has always been regarded as one of the biggest indie bands in the genre, yet I know very little about them. They seem to be the type of band other bands want to be associated with. Like if they sign on to do a compilation album others will be quick to join the project as well. Their talent and professionalism is inspiring to other artists and their fans buy up anything associated with them. At least that's the feeling I get.
I've heard a couple older tracks that have grabbed my attention, specifically Cause=Time, but never been compelled to follow through and purchase an album. This song however has changed that. Check out World Sick here. And if you like it enough, follow through here. The album is called Forgiveness Rock Record and its out May 4, 2010. Better late than never.
